I just recently became a vegetarian. I still eat dairy though, and in the future I might have salmon every so often. I did NOT switch to vegetarianism just to lose weight. I excersize regularly, I have dance classes 5 days a week, and I jog and ride my bike instead of using a car a lot. Even before I became a vegetarian, I ate healthy. I don't drink soda or juices, I don't eat hardly any packaged snacks or junk/fast food. I did eat homemade cookies etc, but I haven't been eating things like that or bread unless its whole grain recently. I only want to lose about 10 more pounds. I had hurt my ankle a few months ago and couldn't excersize, resulting in me gaining 15 pounds :/ But I have been wondering if being a veggie will mean I will lose a few pounds because of cutting out meat. I didn't eat pork before, and I wasn't crazy with the meat. I swithed to being a veggie because I'm not crazy for meat anyway, and there's so many health benefits if you eat correctly with out meat.... Read More »
