Dr. Oz: Can Butternut Squash Soup Detect Cancer?

Lee told Dr. Oz that after eating a bowl of butternut squash soup, which is high in anti-oxidants and boosts your immune system, that she had horrible pain in her stomach.  She went to the doctor and was shortly thereafter diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma cancer.  Was the butternut squash soup the helped in detecting her cancer?

Dr. Oz said that some cancers are very responsive to your immune system, so if you strengthen your immune system, it can alert us to cancer and other potential problems.  The warning signs are often pain or fever.
