Dr. Oz: Why Some Diets Don’t Work for Everyone?


Dr. Oz was asked by Jim, in seat 16, why certain people can eat various foods and lose weight, but others who try the same diet will have different results.

As a bit of background, Jim lost 110 pounds by working out at the gym and finding the right foods for him to eat.  Dr. Oz says that food reacts differently to different people.  We are made to eat whole foods (fruits, vegetables, foods found in nature), so chemically changed, processed and manipulated foods are handled different by different people, because sometimes our bodies just don’t know how to deal with non-whole foods.
