Dr Oz: Skincare For Dark, Medium and Fair Skin

Race and ethnicity dictate what you should be using for your skin. There are simple skincare routines based on the color of your skin. If you’re not sure of your skin tone, Dr Oz says to go with the darker shade. On today’s show, Dr Oz was joined by Dermatologist, Dr. Fran Cook-Bolden, to give you the morning and evening routines for dark, medium and fair skin tones.

Darker skin contains a lot more melanin that gives it the darker color. Underneath the skin, is dense compacted collagen. With that, you get sagging. As you age, your appearance begins to change in a way you don’t like it.
