Dr Oz: Rice Water Face Wash for Age Spots
Shalini told Dr Oz that women in Korea have used rice water face wash to get rid of age spots for centuries. Jennifer, an audience member, noticed brown spots 8 months ago and since then, they’ve increased. She wanted to know how to get rid of them naturally.
2 C water
Wash the rice and then strain the rice. Wash the face with the water using a gentle circular motion. Do this once a week and within a month, dark spots will fade.
Dr Oz: Okra Face Mask for Wrinkles
To get rid of wrinkles, women in Zimbabwe have used the Okra facemask for years. Lisa, an audience member, noticed more wrinkles when she turned 40. (Reason #493 to hate getting older!) Shalini said women in Zimbabwe also ate Okra to stay slim.
4 fresh okra
Boil the okra and then mash it together. Apply it to the face for 20 minutes and then rinse. Okra contains vitamin A and E and plumps up the skin.
Dr Oz: Chick Pea Flour Paste Facial
Women in India use chick pea flour paste to exfoliate and help tighten the pours right before their wedding. Leslie Anne, an audience member, complained of her clogged pours and wanted to know how to tighten them up.
1 C chick pea flour
1 Tbsp turmeric powder
Combine into a paste and then rub onto your face. Let sit for 5-minutes and then rub off. (Do not wash it off!) Then rinse. This paste also removes irritating peach fuzz.

Dr Oz: Sandalwood Oil Spray
Dr Oz says sandalwood oil is great for the mind. Try mixing in a few drops of sandalwood oil into a spray bottle of water. Spritz yourself to help balance your mind.
Dr Oz: Lemon Grass Oil
Looking to help with inflammation? You’re in luck! Doctor Oz says to add a drop or two of lemon grass oil to water or tea. Lemon grass oil also increases urine flow.
Dr Oz: Bergamot Oil
For a healthy heart, Dr Oz suggested bergamot oil. For a calm, soothing effect, try adding a few drops of bergamot oil to your bath in the evenings.
