Dr Oz: New Uses for Epsom Salt
Epsom Salt is a great way to make your bath more relaxing and healing. But there are many more ways you can make it a part of your routine, as Dr Oz demonstrated. Find out how to make it into a great Hair Volumizer, or try to use it for Sunburn Relief and as a Tile Cleaner.
Dr Oz: Epsom Salt Hair Volumizer
Karen, a hair care professional, recommended using an Epsom Salt Hair Volumizer. She shares it with her clients, because it is cost-effective, easy to do at home, and can help to remove excess buildup of toxins or impurities.
Combine equal parts of Epsom Salt and Conditioner. Apply it to your hair and leave it in for 20 minutes before washing it out with medium to cool water. Karen told Dr Oz it will give you beautiful, bouncy hair.
Dr Oz: Epsom Salt Sunburn Relief
Kat shared her unique use for Epsom Salt with Dr Oz. Did you ever think you could use it for sunburn relief? Combine 2 tablespoons of Epsom Salt in one cup of water. Transfer this to a clean, empty spray bottle. Then you can spray it directly on the skin and rub it in to help give you some relief from the sun.
Dr Oz: Epsom Salt Tile Cleaner
Keep a healthier house with advice from Precious, who said you can use Epsom Salt as a Tile Cleaner. Is there anything it cannot do?
Precious explained that you can mix equal parts Epsom Salt with Liquid Dish Soap to form a thick paste. Then you can use a toothbrush to scrub your tiles and the grout between them. You don’t have to get the surface wet ahead of time.
Just scrub to get the grime out of your tiles and leave them as shiny and streak-free as new. Think of the money you could save on specialty cleaners.
