Dr Oz: How Many Calories Do You Burn In A Day?

How many calories can you eat in a day and still lose weight? It’s different for everyone, but here’s a simple way you can figure it out for yourself. This is Chris Powell’s weight loss formula.

Your Current Weight x 12 = Approximate Calorie Burn Per Day

The number you get will tell you a ballpark number of how many calories you burn every day. If you eat less than this number, you should unlock the key to weight loss.

Once you know this number, you will have more control over your ability to maintain or lose weight. You can tweak your diet and make small, healthy choices that can help you on the road to going down a size.

Dr Oz: How Many Calories Do You Eat In A Day?

Dr Oz’s audience volunteer shared her food diary on the show. Her magic number was 1,980 calories. An average day’s worth of food for her was 2,224 calories. She was surprised to learn how many calories she was eating in a single day.

But she is not alone. Dr Oz said a study showed that people think they eat about 20% fewer calories than they actually consume.
