Dr Oz: Best Foods To Get Rid of Belly Fat

Would you believe there are actually foods that can get your fat to eat itself? Dr. Oz says there is even science to support this idea, which is why he is ready to reveal which foods are best for erasing years of fat effortlessly! He says the secret lies in eating the right fats in order to melt away fat. That might sound a little confusing, but it is true and Dr. Oz explains why!

Dr Oz: What Are MUFAs?

Dr. Oz says most of us have “historical fat”, which is the fat that has probably been with us longer than many of our friends. He explains that we all need to a make a complete shift in the way we think about dieting and stop being concerned with eating low-fat foods, which is one of the biggest mistakes that people make when trying to lose weight. The key is to eat the right fats in order to flush away the unwanted body fat.

Add MUFAs to your diet – Monounsaturated Fatty Acids are healthy fats that do not come from animals and are really good for you.

Dr Oz says adding more MUFAs to your diet will help melt away belly fat. Good sources include avocado, olives, and dark chocolate.

  • Avocados
  • Olives
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Coconut Oil
  • Most Nuts
  • Almond Butter
  • Dark Chocolate

Dr. Oz says these foods are the opposite of what we have all been led to believe about fat. He adds that they all do important things in our body, including reducing inflammation and flushing stored fat from the body.

Dr Oz: Foods That Contain Healthy Fats

Now that you know which foods to add to your next shopping list, you are probably wondering how much of them you need to eat in order to melt away your belly fat. Here are Dr. Oz’s guidelines to get you the results your desire:

Half of the calories you eat every day from fat need to be from the MUFA foods listed above, so add a MUFA serving to every meal you eat.

  • ¼ of an Avocado
  • 2 tablespoons of Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons of Nut Butter
  • 10 Olives
  • 2 tablespoons of Nuts
  • ¼ cup of Dark Chocolate Chips

Dr Oz: Eat Sunflower Seeds To Burn More Fat

Dr. Oz says there is one more category of fat that he has never talked about on his show, but he is revealing it today! It is called PUFA, which stands for Polyunsaturated Fats, and here are some of the best foods to get the recommended two servings a day.

  • 3 ounces of Oily fish, like salmon, mackerel, and sardines
  • Seaweed Snacks
  • Pine Nuts – 1 shot glass
  • 1 ounce of Sesame Seeds
  • 1 ounce Sunflower Seeds
  • 2 tablespoons Sunflower Oil

Dr. Oz says PUFAs and MUFAs work together because the PUFAs relax the fat, so it becomes easier for the MUFAs to release it from the body.

Dr Oz: FBCx Supplement Review

The final way you can get your fat to eat itself is by taking a supplement high in fat-eating fiber. Dr. Oz recommends an FBCx Supplement because it can eliminate 9 times its weight and 500 calories a day, which is why it should be taken with a meal. Dr. Oz says FBCx is especially beneficial for those times when you cheat on your diet.

Take 2 grams with a fatty (unhealthy) meal.

Comments to Dr Oz: Eat Healthy Fats to Burn Fat & FBCx Supplement Review

  1. Hi Dr. Oz Fans!

Glad to see you’re sharing the benefits of the ingredient, FBCx with your readers! It’s great to know the word is out on how it can truly support weight management.

I wanted to clarify that, at this time, Calorease is the only patented FBCx product in the U.S.

Calorease is the dietary supplement made from super fiber, FBCx, that has been shown to bind to the fat in foods and reduce up to 500 calories a day. It can help you maintain a healthy weight without the restrictions of a low fat diet, or adding on to your exercise program.

Learn more about the product and the research behind it by visiting http://www.calorease.com/.

  2. The website calorease for the FBCx isnt working. :( I did find it on Amazon though

  3. tried finding any legitimate 3rd party research, but there is ZERO. Another one of Oz’s bs recommendations

  4. I checked out the Calorease site and it worked for me just fine Shaunna! (I got some for my mom). Regarding Bill’s comment, I looked up the research, and there’s a bunch of 3rd party research if you know where to look. I even found a resource listing independent research on the Calorease Pinterest board “What Others Are Saying” with a pdf listing a bunch of scientific studies. It just takes a little more sleuthing.

  5. I bought it at GNC… only $35 if you have a members card for 180 capsules

  6. Thx for that info, regarding GNC…quite a price difference, as I just had ordered some online , but am now very concerned that it may not have the Calorease! With an overpriced shipping, it was $63! I will go to GNC!

  7. It seams the weight loose is more for women than men and you always have the women on your show, I know women are nicer to hold hands with sorry Dz. Oz. women I think have a different metabolism than men.

  8. Did you all know that …this is known on the Dr. Oz show as someone trying to sell or make some claim that Dr. Oz
has said, repeatedly Not too on his show thery do not have his permission or backing to make any of these claimes…please do not buy or read these, go too his “official website”. A supporter of the real Dr.OZ

  9. Jane, no one said it is Dr Oz endorsed, he simply mentioned FBCx on his show and introduced it as getting your fat to eat itself…CALOREASE just happens to be the only product of FBCx available. (as far as I know) Therefore, if you do a search for it you will come up with CALOREASE. Saying that something was mentioned on Dr Oz is a legitimate claim if indeed it was, and “FBCx” was!
