Dr Oz: The Feeding Tube Diet

Dr Oz was with Dr Drew Pinsky discussing bizarre and extreme diet trends, including the cotton ball diet. But then he wanted to take a closer look at the feeding tube diet. The diet involves sticking a feeding tube through the patient’s nose and down into their stomach. A low-calorie, protein- and fat-rich solution is fed through the tube for 24 hours a day, for up to 10 days. You’re restricted to just 800 calories a day. Investigative reporter Elisabeth Leamy went on a mission to find out more.
