    Dr. Oz help please!!! I have something wrong with me that no specialist Dr. that I have seen have been able to tell what it is. It all started five years ago when I had a major surgery. One month after my surgery, I felt dizzy and I passed out. Since that time I am still struggling with this condition. I feel like my life is over because I can’t work or do things like normal people do. Any advice?

    Thanks so much for the fat busters episode. I want to try all of them but I am confused about what is considered a full meal, For instance the belly fat prevention method mentions taking a 1000 mg capsule of GLA and 1 cup of beans with each meal. What other foods should I have with each meal or am I just suppose to eat the beans and take the GLA? HELP please, Anxious to get started.

    Don’t try looking for 1000mg of GLA in one pill, you won’t find it. It takes any where from1000-1500mg of Primrose oil to get just 150 mg of GLA. Borage Oil, it takes 1000mg to get 240mg of GLA. Black Curran oil has even less. To get 1000mg of GLA you’re looking at 4-5 softgels minimum.

    Ant – I have been researching the 1000mg dosage too and it is ridiculous how many pills with GLA in it you would have to take to reach 1000mg. And then to do this 3x a day? Even the highest concentrated GLA is only 240mg so that means 4 pills each time. Hopefully someone can get some clarification on the actual dosage. Depending on the brand, 1000mg supplement can contain anywhere between 90mg – 240mg of GLA. Am I reading wrong? I tried to watch the Oz episode to see if there was a little more detail but I can’t locate it. Any help or insight??

    Does anyone know the difference in the GLA supplement and the green coffee bean extract…or if there is a difference? Which works the best?

    Kally- GLA is an acid in a “Good Fat”. Just like fish oil, flax oil, coconut oil, and so on. It’s found mostly in borage oil, evening primrose oil, or black currant oil. Green coffee bean is completely different.

    I started the butt slim down shake this morning. My question is does anyone know how much of the milled flaxseed we’re supposed to put in the smoothie? It says 1/2 pack. But, I bought a big back of milled flaxseed. Do you know how much I should be putitng in this smoothie?

    Also, I wanted to ask, would it be okay to do the thigh burning calcium pyruvate before meals while also doing the smoothies for breakfast and lunch for the butt slimming?

    Dr Oz suggested that 1000 Mg of GLA Gamma Linolenic Acid be taken before meals. I cannot find 1000 Mg anywhere. I keep getting mixtures with the highest Mg being 300 and says to take only one a day . What am I missing ?

    I’ve looked everywhere for the comments Dr. Oz made about the cardamon, amise, and celery seeds, and cannot find it. Just wanting to know how they work and how much I should take. I have about 30 lbs i’m wanting to lose and need all the help I can get!!!

    No one seems to know the answer to this question : Do we take three pills three times a day to reach 1000 Mg of GLA or one pill three times a day of 1000 Mg borage oil ? Everyone is asking and there are no firm answers out there. I can’t believe Dr Oz hasn’t been alerted to this question. His show was very unclear.

    I’ve been on the GLA and beans fat flush for 4 days. Something better happen in the next 3 days or I call BS!!!!! I’m bloated and full of gass…….NO fat gone from my belly. I am 5 ft. 2 in and weigh 126 lbs. I workout EVERY day. My only problem is my stomach area. This diet and supplement has done NOTHING!!!!!

    Update: I have lost no fat on my belly. Its actually larger than befote. Dr. Oz is a quack. No fan here!!!

    I can only find Combinations of GLA, can you use those? Can you combine the solutions for big butt, tummy and arms together or do you have to do each separate?

    Seriously …. sweet potato diet, chitosan and whey protein, 1 cup of beans 3x a day (your husband will love you the next day) … IN SEVEN DAYS … come on ladies, if you are overweight, THINK for a second … “how long did it take you to put on those extra pounds” … do you think that it’s going to come off in 7 DAYS! GLA, Green Coffee Bean Extract, African Mango, Raspberry Ketones. I like Dr OZ and all but arrrggggg!!!

    It says to take 1000 mg of GLA with EVERY meal plus 1 cup of beans w/ every meal. That would be 4 softgel caps at evey meal right? Because my GLA is a mixture also & it has 1300mg borage oil & 299 mg GLA. The highest recommended dose is up to 5 softgels daily.

    My friend is taking the calcium pyruvate and eating non meat protein. She’s seen a change in definition but she stepped up her exercise to more of a bootcamp that’s going to have you doing compound movements. This is different than her getting on the elliptical and then getting on a weight machine. She feels like it’s working but not with just the supplement or food change alone.

    I tried the 6 cups a day of parsley tea and a sweet potato at each meal and stopped all
    other carbs. After 7 days nothing happened. what was supposed to happen? Is Dr oz
    just promoting products for a kickback. I’m confused. I counted on this because I have
    huge upper arms and a heart condition. Why would he tell people to do this for 7 days if nothing happens?

    Swanson’s Vitamins (http://www.swansonvitamins.com/) has the purest GLA I could find. Mega-GLA 300. I took 3 softgel 3 times a day w/1 c of beans and saw a difference. I am a diabetic and keep my carbs to 45 a meal and exercise on a regular basis.

    NOW company makes a 1,000mg Calcium Pyruvate
    Milled flax seed meal. Start with two teaspoons a day
    and after a couple weeks, gradually increase to 2 tablespoons.
    Continue forever.

    This is day 5 for me and still nothing has happened. All I’m getting is more weight put on. I have to admit I could not find any GLA 1000 mg at the Vitamin shop ,where I live, only 300mg. I have been taking GLA 3 x a day (900mg) with 1 cup of beans with my meals. If I take an extra pill that would reach me at 1,200 will that be safe? Also I feel I would be adding more weight with adding one more meal just to take 1 more pill. Any advice people?
