Dr Oz Guarana Powder

Dr Oz spoke about Guarana Powder and Yogurt Hummus Mayo to boost your energy.

Dr Oz: Guarana Powder in Cereal

Wendy, an audience member, told Dr Oz that she had cereal every morning for breakfast, but she’s bored. She ate the same thing all the time and was looking to mix it up a bit but still get the same (or more) energy she gets from her cereal. Doctor Oz suggested adding guarana powder to her breakfast. Take a pinch of guarana powder and sprinkle it onto your cereal or oatmeal and still get the same rush as caffeine. You can also use it in a power smoothie. A lot of manufacturers actually use guarana powder in their foods anyway.

Dr Oz: Yogurt Hummus Mayo

Becky, an audience member, told Dr Oz that she ate sandwiches every day for lunch. It was easy and kept costs down, but unfortunately, she was bored with it. Dr Oz suggested his yogurt hummus mayo. To make, add equal part yogurt to hummus and spread onto your sandwich instead of mayo. You’ll get half the calories and more taste.

Dr Oz: Cashew Crumble Recipe

Melanie, an audience member, told Dr Oz that she loved fruit. Her kids ate fruit all the time and got the energy, but she didn’t. She wanted to know how to continue eating the fruit but get some energy out of it too. Dr Oz suggested the cashew crumble. Grind up cashews in a coffee grinder and then use your fruit to dip in to. It will give you a delicious mixture of fruit and nuts.

Dr Oz: E.V. Coco Splash – Extra Virgin Coconut Oil

Cindy, an audience member, told Dr Oz that when she was a kid, she ate chicken all the time. Now that she’s an adult, she prefers fish but wanted a new way to prepare her meats. Dr Oz suggested instead of butter, take a scoop of E.V. Coco Splash and place it in the base of the pan before cooking the meat. The extra virgin coconut oil contains ingredients to help speed up your metabolism, so you can have more energy and lose weight in the process.
