Dr Oz: Italian Chickpea Popcorn Recipe

Susan, an audience member, curbed her cravings for salty foods and lost 210 lbs. After many years of attempting to lose weight, she finally found her own way with Dr. Fuhrman’s (and now Dr Oz’s) 7 Day Crash Diet Plan. Her Italian Chickpea Popcorn recipe was one food that helped her shed the pounds.

15 oz chick peas
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
1 tsp olive oil
Pinch of pepper
Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes

Dr Oz: Cheesy Pasta Supreme Recipe

Jasmine, an audience member, said she craved fattening foods. Since following Dr. Joel Fuhrman’s 7 Day Crash Diet Plan and eating his cheesy pasta supreme, she lost 91 lbs.


2 cloves garlic
2 Tbsp shallots, diced
1 box quinoa pasta
½ C sun dried tomatoes
½ tsp red pepper flakes
2 Tbsp tahini
15 C kale, chopped
1 C nutritional yeast

Sauté garlic and shallot together with kale
Cook greens and quinoa and put into pan with garlic and shallot
In hot water, rehydrate sun-dried.
Sprinkle in 1 C of nutritional yeast
Add the 2 tbsp of tahini
Add ¼ tsp of red pepper flakes into sun-dried tomatoes pan
Squeeze in lemon and sprinkle in a dash of pepper

Dr Oz: Brownie & Banana Treat Recipe

Emily, an audience member, said she was able to lose 102 lbs on Dr Oz’s 7 Day Crash Diet plan by curbing her cravings for sweets.

Brownie Ingredients

2 C cooked black beans
10 Medjool dates
2 Tbsp raw almond butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tbsp ground chia seed
½ C natural cocoa powder (non-alkalized)

Banana Treat Ingredients

2 frozen bananas
Bunch of blueberries
10-15 walnuts


Preheat oven to 200° F
Blend the black beans, dates, almond butter and vanilla in a food processor or blender
Add remaining ingredients
Pour into a lightly oiled baking dish
Bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, depending on oven
Cool completely
Cut into squares
Top with raspberries
In a blender, combine bananas, blueberries, and walnuts on high speed
Serve the banana treat with the warm brownies
Dig in!
