Do you think you are doing everything right only to have your metabolism feel like it is flatlining and preventing you from reaching your weight loss goals? If so, it might not be your fault because there are surprising foods killing your metabolism without you even knowing it. Find out which metabolism death foods you need to remove from your diet right now!

Dr Oz: Eat More Butter to Burn Belly Fat?

Dr. Josh Axe says most of us are eating foods that are wreaking havoc on our metabolism and he is on a mission to help you transform your health and bring your metabolism back to life. Dr. Axe says the biggest setback to your health is eating what he refers to as “metabolism death foods”, which are ones that cause inflammation and shut down your body’s fat-burning potential, but he is here to help you take control of your health and shed those unwanted pounds once and for all.

  1. Whole Grains contain gluten, which can literally ruin your metabolism, so Dr. Axe recommends replacing them with sprouted grains and coconut flour, which he says is a dieter’s best friend.
  2. Peanut Butter is another metabolism death food because it is linked to allergies and hormone issues, which is why Dr. Axe suggests replacing it with almond butter to speed up your metabolism and help your body burn more fat.
  3. Canola Oil is a partially hydrogenated food and can cause inflammation in the body, but if you replace it with grass-fed or pastured butter you will actually rev up your metabolism and burn more belly fat, so make sure you add butter to your next shopping list.
