Dr. Oz sent some viewers from the same town on a scavenger hunt to find four detox superfoods in each other’s homes and then bring them to the show. Amy was the one who volunteered her friends and neighbors for the scavenger hunt. She said in her town, they have football parties and pizza parties and lots of other parties. So she thought a detox would be good for everyone.

Dr. Oz challenged three cooks to make a great recipe with detoxifying raw garlic. Try Kale Salad, White Bean Dip, and Garlic Tomato Toast.

    DR.OZ, Microwave Beets with 1/2 cp water. 8min on high , you can slice’m like butter
    don’t throw away the juice.

    I like to roast the beets. Clean but don’t peel. If really large cut in half. Sprinkle a little olive oil over, wrap in foil, bake in 350 degree oven until a knife will pierce through. The flavor is awesome. Can eat as a veggie with dinner or I make a beet and feta salad served room temp or chilled. Be sure to use the greens like any other leafy green vegetable. I cut the stalks into 1/2 inch pieces and cook with the greens.
