Dr Oz’s show on August 17, 2012 is called The Gastric Surgery You Should Be Getting.  Have you ever considered getting Gastric Bypass Surgery?  Or have you already had it?  Share your thoughts on Gastric Surgery in the comment section below!  If you decide that Gastric Bypass Surgery is not for you, Doctor Oz shared other weight loss ideas like how to Lose Weight While You Sleep (sounds heavenly!) and spoke about products like a Sound Machine and a Cooling Mattress Pad that help you lose weight.  All I know is that I have heard from several mothers who swear that sound machines help their babies sleep through the night (when before they would wake-up every two to three hours).  So if it can work for finicky babies, it certainly seems worth a shot!  After all, if you can get a better nights sleep and lose weight because of it, what more can you ask for?

    Re: gastric bypass.. Your cravings/likes don’t change with a bypass..if you’d rather have a piece of peach pie with cheese, you’re not going to be satisfied with just a peach.. Just saying..it’s better to take time to change your eating habits..learn to like that peach.. A bypass is not an easy fix..but I with you all the best anyway..

    I know someone who had gastric BP several yrs ago ( bad back, knees,HBP, may need hip surgery & out of control diabetes) & lost about 150 lbs. Problems all disappeared. She’s started to gain some of it back because she’s home all day while husband at work. They’re over 50,married 25 or so years, have no kids & he’s domineering , selfish & won’t let her work. I don’t even think he wants her to go to gym So she’s home all day bored & eats all the time. Moral : settle preventive health issues before you marry or be prepared to be assertive & go to gym anyway

    When I work my back hurt so bad on my left side.I had falling down a set of 20 medal steps.And my husband laugh at me so much I just went home and to bed.The next morning it took awhile bed i could get out of the bed.I thank God that I didn’t brake my neck. How can I get a good night sleep? Thank you so much.
