Dr Oz: Weight Watchers Points Plus with Liz Josefsberg & Barbara

Dr Oz and Weight Watchers partnered on the Empty Nest Diet program and brought back a recent guest on the show, Barbara, to tell us about her experiences and just how much weight she lost in 3 months on the Weight Watchers Point Plus Program.  Liz Josefsberg was Barbara’s Weight Watchers coach, and she joined them as well.

Dr Oz: Weight Watchers Program

As a refresher, Barbara’s only daughter left for college and so Barbara began to fill the huge void by eating.  Now, after being on Dr Oz Weight Watchersthe Weight Watchers Program, she said that she cooks for the week on Sunday so that she has healthy options for the week ahead.  She said that the Weight Watchers Plan is not intrusive in your life, but rather it becomes a part of your life.  She used the point system, weekly meetings, and other resources in order to bring everything together to work for her.  She learned portion control and started to eat steel cut oatmeal for breakfast, which has protein and is a great choice.  Barbara even replaced her deep fryer with a popcorn air popper.

Dr Oz: Weight Watchers Plan

Dr Oz asked Liz Josefsberg what she saw as the biggest change in Barbara, and she said it is that Barbara went from not believing she could lose weight to being confident in her success.  Dr Oz asked Barbara how the Weight Watchers Points Plus Plan has changed things for her.  She said it changed everything and nothing at the same time.  She changed how she looked at food, but she loves to cook since she has a degree as a chef.  She thought that Weight Watchers would take that away from her, but now instead of just grabbing food, she reads the ingredient label first.

Hi. My name is Mari and I know Barbara and Liz because I am the next to go up for the weight watchers chalenge on Dr. Oz. I have a reveal in a few weeks. I went on the show because I couldn’t believe how much weight I gained when I had my baby and after I had her, I was left feeling like a big blob of chub! I didn’t feel confident and it has really been hard on me. Anyway. I have a lot of support now but since I did weight watchers I have learned how to change my lifestyle in a healthy way. I feel better, and when I was able to fit in one of my dresses I shouted HALLELUJAH!! LOL.

Anyway, I am so glad I did this. I am nervous about the reveal, but I am excited I had this opportunity and I KNOW I had to do it this way to whip myself in shape. I could go on and on, but I want to also join your e-mail list because now that I am changing my life, I want to continue on this track. Also I want to start a video blog when I get a chance. Thanks!

I love it when he has people from this show from fork over knives but still puts meat in your guys diet. What a way to stay with the mainstream.

  12. says

You need to watch the documentary Dr.Oz even had someone from this documentary on his show but he still uses meat in his diet because he is mainstream and gets paid by wait watchers. This will probably get deleted but the truth is hard to get to the public theses day.
