Dr Oz: Man Spent a Year Living Like Jesus
A.J. Jacobs, author of The Year of Living Biblically, told Dr. Oz he was not sure where to begin when teaching his kids about religion so he decided to dive headfirst and follow all of the rules in the Bible. He says there are a lot of rules to follow and he even decided to eat according to the Bible. A.J. says he did not shave his face for the entire year and he even ‘lived fruitful and multiplied’ because he and his wife had twin sons. He says there was certainly no fast food in Biblical times so he ate a lot of whole foods, including lentils and barley, and he says he even took it so far as to eat crickets and locusts. A.J. says he definitely had more energy throughout the process and even lost weight along the way.
