Dr Oz: Anise Prevents Wrinkles
Dr Oz asked whether anise prevents wrinkles or hair loss? Anise is a spice that is native to the Mediterranean region and has a licorice flavor. Dr Oz said that anise helps to prevent wrinkles by helping with collagen. Also, use anise a couple times a week.
Dr Oz: Coriander Decreases LDL Cholesterol & Increases HDL Cholesterol
Dr Oz asked whether coriander increases HDL cholesterol or increases the absorption of omega 3 fats. Coriander is one of the world’s oldest spices and can be traced back to 5000 B.C. Coriander tastes a bit citrus-y, and unfortunately is not a big winner in my family. Dr Oz said that coriander increases HDL Cholesterol (healthy cholesterol) while also decreasing LDL Cholesterol (bad cholesterol). As with the other spices, take this 2-3 times a week.
