Dr Oz: Lose 10 Pounds by Dropping 100 Calories Per Day

Dr Oz: Drop 100 Calories

Dr Oz played a game called Drop 100 Calories to teach us easy ways to eliminate 100 calories from our diets every day.  If you can eliminate just 100 calories every day, then you can lose 10 pounds in a year.  Sounds pretty simple, right?  Here are a list of foods that can help you get rid of 100 calories every day:

1.  Granola Dr Oz 100 Calories

2.  Frozen Yogurt

3.  Cheese

4.  Fruit Juice

5.  Smoothies

6.  Latte

Doctor Oz said that granola by itself is not a health food, but if you mix half granola with half cereal, then you can eliminate calories and still have a tasty snack.  Fruit juice is another item that is high in sugar, so try to eat whole fruits instead.  Or at least mix half water and half fruit juice to try to slowly ween yourself off of drinking fruit juice.  Another idea is to replace your usual lattes with Cafe Au Lait made with skim milk, because it has far fewer calories.

Dr Oz gave each of the ladies who played the game (Nicole and Raquel) a $100 gift certificate to spend on grocery shopping.  I wonder whether they will be buying healthy, Dr Oz approved foods or not!
