Doctor Oz played a game called “Rate My Plate” with Linda and Bernadette to help teach us how to figure out what the ideal single serving size is for olive oil, walnuts and whole grain pasta.
Dr. Oz’s Ideal Single Serving Sizes:
1. Ideal Serving Size for Olive Oil -> A Poker Chip Amount (40 calories)
2. Ideal Serving Size for Walnuts -> A Tangerine Amount (12-14 walnut halves is 185 calories)
3. Ideal Serving Size for Whole Grain Pasta -> A Light Bulb Amount
And the lucky winner of the game got 9″ Plates, which is a great idea to use because it will keep your portion sizes under control!
