Dr. Oz: Rosie O’Donnell Weight Loss
Rosie O’Donnell came by Dr. Oz to talk about the weight loss surgery that helped her lose 50 pounds, why she left The View, and her new documentary Rosie O’Donnell: A Heartfelt Stand-Up.
Rosie O’Donnell said that she started her 1990s talk show at 185 pounds and gained over 200 pounds by Christmas of the first year. The pounds kept increasing until she had a heart attack in 2012. She had 100 percent blockage in one of her arteries, in her LAD, which is often referred to as “the widowmaker.”
