Cooking at home is usually the healthier option when it comes to enjoying food, but what if your cookware is loaded with chemicals? Dr Oz wanted to look at three nonstick surfaces, beginning with the most popular and the most controversial, teflon. Nonstick cookware has changed the way Americans cook, ever since the 1960’s. But ten years ago, nonstick cookwear and its nonstick ingredients, a group of chemicals called PFC’s or teflon, came under fire for possible dangerous health side effects.
