Dr. Oz kicked off this show by talking about heart disease. His entire audience was wearing red to support raising awareness of heart disease. Dr. Oz said the cure for heart disease is in our hands. He had a few simple questions to see how much heart disease is a risk for us.

  1. Do you get less than 20 minutes of moderate to vigorous exercise per day?
  2. Do you drink more than 1 serving of alcohol per day?
  3. Do you watch an hour or more of TV per day?
  4. Are you overweight?
  5. Does your diet contain a lot of red meat, processed foods, and refined sugars?

If you answered yes to any of these questions, you are at risk for a heart attack.
