Dr. Oz shared some of the wives’ tales that he believed when he was growing up. The first is that you should wait 30 minutes to go swimming after you eat. Dr. Oz said his mom constantly told him this wives’ tale and he even skipped meals so he could get in the water faster. This wives’ tale is simply not true. You might get a slight cramp if you swim right after eating, but that is all that could happen.
