Dr Oz’s Show on September 21 2011 will feature Dr Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra, in a show called “A How-To Guide To Holistic Health: Everything You Need To Know From Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra.” Doctor Oz claims that this will be the only guide you will ever need to Holistic health. They will discuss what to eat according to the Holistic Health way of living. Some of the items on the Anti-Inflammatory Food Buffet include Black Cod, berries, bok choy and ginger. Dr Weil said that one of them even has more omega 3’s than salmon, so I bet the food he is talking about is the Black Cod! I did a little research and found that Black Cod is reported to have 50% more omega 3’s than the average salmon. One bad thing that I discovered about Black Cod though is that it is fairly high in mercury, so women who are pregnant or who want to become pregnant might want to consider that… and certainly that should be taken into consideration when deciding if and how often your kids should eat it.
Dr Oz: DGL & Ginkgo
Dr Oz will also have Dr Andrew Weil and Deepak Chopra give advice on ways to prevent Alzheimer’s Disease, Cancer, Heart Disease, Colds, Indigestion and PMS. Plus they will talk about natural ways to cure headaches, boost your energy, sleep better and reduce stress. I do have a couple of sneak peaks at the information they will share. I believe that Dr Weil will speak about taking DGL (Deglycyrrhizinated Licorice Root Extract) to help with indigestion. And Ginkgo is likely to be the memory enhancing dietary supplement that he suggests.
