Dr Oz Gone Wild: 50 Embarrassing Questions: Chin Hair to Bad Breath

Dr Oz's show called Oz Gone Wild: 50 Embarrassing Questions covers everything from Chin Hair to Bad Breath.

You can read all of the questions Dr Oz was asked along with the answers he mentioned in the links at the bottom of this article, but here are just a few highlights to give you a taste of what he spoke about on his show!

Does a Low Carb Diet Cause Bad Breath?

Dr Oz said that if you are on a low carb diet, it could certainly be the cause of bad breath.  Why?  Well, often your body will go into starvation mode when you cut out carbs altogether.  So instead of doing a low carb diet, you might want to consider including “good” carbs such as whole grains in your diet.

Does Losing Weight Make Your Hair Thin?

Dr Oz said that losing weight can make your hair thinner.  Why?  Because you may not be including enough protein in your diet.  He suggested adding an egg and 1/4 cup of mixed nuts into your diet to help boost the protein.

How Can I Safely Get Rid of Chin Hair?

Doctor Oz said that women sometimes struggle with hair on their chin and said that if it bothers you, you can pluck it with tweezers as long as you make sure to remove it from the root.  However, as I noted in the article below, some people say that plucking chin hair only makes it grow back thicker and stronger.  So what do you think?  Do you struggle with unwanted facial hair?  Do you pluck it?  Do you shave it?  Or do you have some other solution?  Please share your thoughts in the comment section below!

Comments to Dr Oz Gone Wild: 50 Embarrassing Questions: Chin Hair to Bad Breath

  1. Hi Dr. Oz,

I just wanted to let you know that i have fine hair on my chin and i pluck them once a week, i noticed that the more i pluck the less the hair is on my chin. I also dont make alot of money for electrolysis so i found if you keep up on the hairs they will eventually lessen!

  2. Dr. Oz.
Please tell me the things that are most helpful to someone that is suffering from COPD.
Can you provide a list of foods, diets and exercise that can help them manage with this condition? What is out in the field of medical stem cell study groups?
Thanks so much for your help.
