Dr Oz Most Misused Over-The-Counter Drugs
Dr Oz’s Show on July 7, 2011 is all about the Most Misused OTC Drugs. The top 5 most misused over-the-counter drugs include: Multi-Symptom Cold & Flu Drugs, OTC Headache Drugs, OTC Heartburn Drugs, OTC Allergy Drugs, and OTC Pain Killers. The #1 Misused OTC Drug is NSAIDS or Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs which include medications such as Aleve, Motrin and Advil. If you take NSAIDS for too long, you can have all sort of problems including damage to your stomach lining which can increase your chances of getting Stomach Ulcers. Usually, the term OTC stands for Over-The-Counter, but Doctor Oz came up with a new acronym. O = Obey Directions, T = Talk to Your Pharmacist and C = Choose The Lowest Dose First… if you follow these three rules, it can help you avoid misusing OTC medications. Dr Oz also spoke about headache medications like Acetaminophen, heartburn drugs like Proton Pump Inhibitors and allergy medications including Antihistamines.
Dr Oz: Earlobe Crease
Dr Oz spoke about four things your face tells you about your health. For example, if you have an Earlobe Crease, it could be a sign of Heart Disease. And if you have a white ring around the portion of your eye that is colored, it could be a sign that you have High Cholesterol. A Vitamin B Deficiency can show up as cracks around the corners of your mouth. Dr Oz: Soul Train Workout
Doctor Oz also did a segment with Fatima Robinson, who taught us how to do a Soul Train Workout. I have received tons of requests asking where you can but the Soul Train Workout DVD, and unfortunately, I have not been able to find Fatima Robinson’s Workout DVD either. If anyone is able to find it though, please leave a comment below with the link and share the Soul Train love!
