Dr Oz: Fix Your Metabolism With Carbs

Haylie Pomroy shared her plan to lose 20 pounds in 28 days, which includes three phases to cross-train your metabolism and get it revved up and ready to burn calories and help you lose a bunch of weight in a short period of time. The first phase lasts for two days and involves carbs, which Haylie already explained will heal the thyroid gland. She explained this phase will entice the body and get you feeling better almost immediately.

Dr Oz: Strawberry French Toast Recipe

Here is what you need for 1 serving:

  • 1 slice sprouted-grain bread
  • 1/2 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 egg white
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon Stevia or Xylitol

Here is what you need to do:

  1. To a small bowl add the egg white, vanilla and cinnamon and whisk it all together. Dip the bread into the mixture, making sure to soak both sides.
  2. Cook in a skillet and turn occasionally until both sides are golden brown.
  3. As the French toast cooks, add the strawberries to a small pan and heat at a low setting. After a few minutes pour in the lemon juice and Stevia and continue cooking until warmed through. Pour over French toast and enjoy!
