I absolutely loved this recipe… expensive for a cake but so good.. we call it the oozy-gooey crazy cake in our house.

Do you have the breakdown for calories, nutrients, etc for this cake? Would love it if you did.

After 2 batches, my comments are:
I prefer this without the icing. It gives a moist dense chewy mildly sweet brownie. Use the icing for extra chocolate flavor and calories from nuts.
Measure carefully all moist ingredients, add only enough water or pineapple juice as last ingredient as needed to achieve a moist batter.
Mine did not rise. It may seem “under cooked” when warm. Seemed to “set up” in refrigerator overnight. DO NOT USE toothpick test for doneness. I over baked mine a half hour with no problem.

This cake is fabulous, very moist. It doesn’t need a topping, but a made a chocolate ganache to top it. (Sorry Dr. Oz) next time I’ll make it I won’t use a topping as it plenty sweet enough without one. I had the veggies from my garden and decieded to give it a try. So good, I will definitely make this cake again. I baked mine at 325 degrees for 1 hour and it come out fine.

Only make if u have a huge crowd! Refrigerate leftovers. Crazy expensive to make! Was ok, walnuts have nice crunch. Just seemed like an insane hassle.
