Dr Oz: Wolfgang Puck Makes it Healthy Review

Chef Wolfgang Puck, author of Wolfgang Puck Makes it Healthy, is known for his delicious dishes, famous restaurants, and has even had the pleasure of feeding the winners at the Oscars, but Dr. Oz is most impressed by his recent weight loss! Wolfgang Puck says the secret to his success was adding more vegetables to his diet while reducing the size of his protein portions, but most importantly he added more flavor to make everything taste amazing.

Dr Oz: Wolfgang Puck’s Asian-Style Steamed Salmon

  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 teaspoon peanut oil
  • 4 sprigs cilantro
  • 3 kaffir lime leaves
  • 3 scallions, chopped
  • 1 jalapeno, diced
  • 1 stalk lemongrass, chopped

Add the above ingredients to a large pan. This will be your steaming liquid.

  • 6 baby bok choy, cut in half
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 stalk celery, shredded
  • 1 leek, finely chopped
  • Kosher salt

To a steamer basket add the salmon, baby bok choy, carrot, celery, leek and salt and place on top of pan with steaming liquid. Cover and steam for about 5 minutes. Serve and enjoy!

Dr Oz: Wolfgang Puck’s Blueberry Pie with Teff Pastry Crust

Teff Pie Dough:

  • 1 1/8 cups white spelt flour
  • 3/4 cup teff flour
  • 5 oz (1 1/4 sticks) chilled unsalted butter, cut into 1⁄8-inch-thick slices
