Dr Oz: Natural Remedies for Exhaustion
Dr. Oz says chronic fatigue is a silent epidemic affecting women, but doctors are unsure how to treat it so he asked Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, author of Healthy at Home, to provide ways for women to help themselves when their doctors cannot. She says when traditional Western Medicine is unable to help these women, it is important they not feel discouraged because there are other ways to get their energy back through natural remedies.
Dr Oz: Feeling Tired vs Chronic Fatigue
Dr. Oz says many people often confuse being tired all the time with being fatigue, but Dr. Low Dog says the two are very different. She says fatigue is something that does not get better after a good night’s sleep or a weekend off spent resting. While Dr. Low Dog says Chronic Fatigue is a condition in and of itself, fatigue can also be a symptom of something else, so it is important for doctors to rule out health conditions such as Lupus or Celiac Disease.
