Dr Oz: Cream Shave Review
Dermatologist Dr. Cybele Fishman says many women, herself included, make shaving mistakes all the time and she shared a few of them along with better solutions to prevent issues in the future.
- Shave at the end of a shower rather than the beginning because your hair will be less coarse and more soft.
- Dry shaving could be a problem because nicks often occur and could then lead to an infection, so Dr. Fishman recommends using a cream shave and in a pinch says women can even get away with using hair conditioner.
- Shaving upward is another common mistake because it not only goes against the grain, but also increases your risk for razor burn. Shaving downward might not give you as close a shave, but it will lower your chance of nicking yourself or getting razor burn.
