Dave Lieberman’s Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe- Cauliflower Alfredo Sauce


Doctor Oz brought Dave Lieberman, author of The 10 Things You Need to Eat: And More Than 100 Easy and Delicious Ways to Prepare Them, back on his show to teach us a fantastic healthy fettuccine alfredo recipe.  I am totally making this for dinner this weekend!  All you need are six simple ingredients: whole wheat pasta, extra virgin olive oil, cauliflower, shallots, chicken stock and parmesan cheese.Dave Lieberman's Fettuccine Alfredo Recipe

    I added chopped garlic, almost a whole clove, to the onions in the fry pan because to me Alfredo has to be garlicky. Making it that way, made it unrecognizable to my hubby, he thought he was eating jarred Alfredo. 🙂

    Great idea Serena! The garlic probably added a nice flavor to the alfredo sauce, so that it isn’t too bland… I will definitely be trying this next time!
