Doctor Oz did a segment called “Am I In Perimenopause?”, which women go through before entering Menopause.  If you are 35 or older, you should pay close attention to this, because you could be Perimenopausal and not even know it.  Do you feel exhausted? The average American woman enters menopause at 51, but hormonal shifts that happen during Perimenopause can occur as early as your 30’s.  Signs such as unexplainable mood swings and/or trouble sleeping can last anywhere from a few months all the way up to 10 years.

Frequent periods for too long and heavy bleeding or light bleeding occur during peri menopause. While osteoporosis has now become common among women whose calcium intake is less, it also happens to women prior to entering this state.
