Does Cocoa Butter Get Rid of Stretch Marks?

Dr Oz said it is a myth that cocoa butter gets rid of stretch marks.  Stretch marks are tears in your collagen, but cocoa butter cannot fix tears that are under the surface.  What can work for stretch marks?  Try a lotion with vitamin a, vitamin c, peptides and even onion juice.  I am going to so a bit more research on this area and see if I can’t come up with a DIY recipe for making a stretch mark eraser out of ingredients in your kitchen (like onion juice, citrus fruits for vitamin c, etc.).  I’ll keep you posted!

Will Toothpaste Get Rid of a Pimple?

Dr Oz said that this beauty myth is true.  When you wake up in the morning with a big pimple, just grab a tube of plain white toothpaste and dab it on.  Let the toothpaste dry for 15 minutes or so.  Also, do not use whitening or brightening toothpastes because they can burn or irritate your skin.  You should also avoid red toothpastes or anything with cinnamon flavoring.

Can Hemorrhoid Cream Reduce Puffy Eyes & Eye Bags?

Dr Oz said this is true!  Just don’t use hemorrhoid cream on a daily basis because it can be irritating.  The Hemorrhoid Cream shrinks down the bags under your eyes very rapidly apparently, and is used by famous makeup artists.  Good to know!

Does Crossing Your Legs Cause Varicose Veins?

Dr Oz said that this is a myth.  What causes varicose veins is anything that lets blood pool in the bottom of your legs, along with your genetics of course.  If you have a job where you walk a lot or stand for a long time, you may be more at risk for getting varicose veins.  Also, high blood pressure, heart disease and pregnancy can cause varicose veins.  Dr Oz did say that there are great treatments available for removing varicose veins now.
