Looking for cheat foods that won’t completely sabotage your diet?  You’re in luck.  In this segment, Dr Oz showed audience members his favorite cheat foods that will still help you bust those pounds.

An audience member, Carrie, stated that she wanted to lose 40 lbs. The problem is, she loved pasta (and didn’t like whole wheat, thank you!) and loved snacking.

Dr Oz: Fiber One 90 Calorie Brownie

Dr Oz Approved Chocolate Cheat: Fiber One 90 Calorie Brownie.  (Yum!)  This low calorie brownie has 5 grams of fiber.  You need 25 grams per day—and no, that doesn’t mean eat 5 of them.  The dark chocolate contains antioxidants, which we all know Dr Oz loves.  Carrie tried the brownie.  It was good, however, she wanted a scoop of ice cream on it.  By the way, I saw a great deal on these Fiber One Brownies at Costco!!!

Dr Oz: Artichoke Flour Pasta

Dr Oz Approved Pasta Cheat: DeBoles Artichoke Flour Pasta.  Doctor Oz stated that he ate this all the time.  The pasta is made from the juice of artichokes.  Actually, the pasta comes from the root of a plant that looks like sunflowers.  For this delicious food, you get 130 grams of potassium.  Carrie tried it and liked it.

Dr Oz: Garden of Eatin’ Blue Corn Chips & Wholly Guacamole Review

Dr Oz Approved Party Food Cheat: Garden of Eatin’ Blue Corn Chips and the Wholly Guacamole Double Dip.  (Yeah!!!  A two-for-one cheat!)  The guacamole has spicy tomatoes on top to help increase metabolism.  The combo has about 35 calories per serving.  Carrie tried it and gave her own stamp of approval.

Dr Oz: Kashi TLC Oatmeal Raisin Flax Cookie

Dr Oz Approved Sweet Cheat: Kashi TLC Oatmeal Raisin Flax Soft-baked Cookie.  Caveat: this is not a low calorie cookie, however it contains great nutrients such as omega 3 fats.  Dr Oz suggested eating only ONE per day.  (Good luck with that.)  He passed some cookies out to the audience and they loved it.
