Dr Oz: Frozen Food For Weight Loss Diet

In this segment, Dr Oz enlisted the help of Jennifer, an audience member. She stated that she loved frozen foods because they were inexpensive and easy. (Sounds good to me!) Unfortunately, the frozen foods she loved were filled with calories and sodium. Rest assure, Doctor Oz stated that there were actually frozen foods that were good for you (and they didn’t taste cardboard, either.) The Dr Oz Show raided Jennifer’s fridge at home and found her fave frozen food, pizza with pepperoni. (tsk, tsk)

Edamame- Edamame is a soy protein that helps boost the metabolism. Dr Oz suggested Seapoint Farms shelled edamame, which as 8 grams of protein. You can purchase a 16 oz bag for $3 from your local grocer. Dr Oz had Jennifer taste the beans and of course, she stated it was delish. (I don’t know, I may need another ruling on this one.)

Best Frozen Burger To Lose Weight:
Dr. Praeger’s California Veggie Burger. This burger is all-natural and contains no trans fat. This burger also only contains 110 calories per serving. Spice it up with some lettuce and tomato and you’re good to go. You can purchase this burger at your local supermarket for $5 for 4 patties. Dr Oz had Jennifer taste it and she gave it a thumbs up. Trader Joe’s organic brown rice. This rice only takes 3 minutes to prepare, plus you don’t have to add water. 1 cup of this rice is equal to 10 percent of your daily fiber intake. This rice will help you lose weight because it fills you up so you won’t eat as much.

Dr Oz: Julie’s Organic Ice Cream Petit Juliette Sandwiches

Best Frozen Dessert To Lose Weight:
Julie’s Organic Ice Cream Petit Juliette Sandwiches. This delicious treat contains only 6 grams of sugar and is only 100 calories each. You can purchase these ice cream goodies at your local supermarket for $5 for 8 sandwiches. Dr Oz had Jennifer try it and she loved it. (That, I believe.)
