Ashley Koff, RD, says you should be concerned with the amount of carbs in your energy drink. Carbs may give you that quick energy, but you’ll also crash. When choosing an energy drink, you should have no more than 15 g in a serving. The amount of sugar should not exceed 10 g, and limit the amount of caffeine to 200 mg. Also, skip the chemicals and artificial sweeteners.
