Vitamin E Foods
Dr Oz said that foods rich in Vitamin E, like sunflower seeds, spinach and papaya, are helpful for combating hot flashes. Vitamin E helps you to release small amounts of heat all day long and it relaxes your blood vessels.
Dr Oz said studies have shown that if you eat 2 TB of ground flaxseed every day, then you can cut your hot flashes in half.
Dr Oz said that you should drink 2 cups of soy milk a day, or eat other forms of soy (like vegetarian meat or sauces made of soy) every day to help cut back on hot flashes, because of its estrogen inducing abilities.
