1. If you quit smoking today, how many years can you add to your life?
Dr. Oz said that if you stop smoking, you will add 10 years to your life, because your blood pressure will go down, the bad inflammation that smoking causes in your body will heal within weeks, and you can even reverse certain cancers. So Dr. Oz gave his smoking contestant a box of Nicotine Patches to help her quit smoking.
2. If you start flossing today, how many years can you add to your life?
Dr. Oz said that if you start using Dental Floss, you can add 6 years to your life, because flossing actually helps reduce heart disease! If you don’t floss, you can get gingivitis which can cause heart attacks. So Dr. Oz gave his non-flossing contestant a year’s supply of Dental Floss.
3. If you stop eating late at night, how many years will you add to your life?
Dr. Oz said that if you stop eating after 8:30 pm at night, then you will add 2 years to your life. Dr. Oz said that the problem becomes much greater if you also are eating in front of the television or at your desk.
