Dr Oz: Anti-Aging Hot List for 2012

According to Jennifer Goldstein, beauty editor of Prevention Magazine, “Over 1400 anti-aging products were launched last year.” Prevention Magazine obtained a list of those products and got together with the top beauty professionals in the industry to decide which products were best. Here are reviews of some of the products that made their list such as the Anastasia Illumin8 Eye Shadow, the Algenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum and the AO ProVantage Mouth Gel.

Dr Oz: Algenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum Review

1. Allgenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum – This product eliminates wrinkles on the face and the mouth.

By day 10, you will have up to 25% fewer wrinkles. This product is available in drugstores and online by clicking on the following link: Algenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum.

Dr Oz: Illumin8 Eye Shadow Review

2. Illumin8 Eye Shadow- This product reduces wrinkles around the eyes and works like an eye-shadow. You can purchase this product for $40 online by clicking on the following link: Illumin8 Eye Shadow. They used before and after images to demonstrate this product. The first image was 1 week after use and you could actually see a difference. The second image was 4 weeks after continuous use and you could definitely see a difference.

Dr Oz: AO ProVantage Mouth Gel Review

3. AO Provantage Mouth Gel- This product comes as a mouthwash or a mouth gel. If using as a mouthwash, swig the suggested amount in the mouth after brushing. To use the mouth gel, simply rub some onto the gums for fresh breath. You can use this gel in place of gum or mints. (Dr Oz mistakenly took the mouthwash and swallowed it.—Good thing he’s a doctor!) This product is available online and in health stores for $43.

Comments to Dr Oz: Illumin8 Eye Shadow, Algenist Serum & AO Provantage Mouth Gel

  1. Anthony White says:

Hi Guys- I did want to drop you a line to let you know I have been using the AO ProVantage gel by Periosciences for my dry mouth issues. I am recovering from stage IV tongue cancer that metastasisized to the lymph nodes in my neck. The 44 radiation treatments (not to mention the Chemo) to my head and neck have burnt out my salivary glands to the point they hardly work. The night time is by far the worst as I can go hours without saliva. The most common complication has been debilitating mouth ulcers and infections. The AO ProVantage gel has helped a great deal. The one issue i have is it’s cost. At $43 for 30ml’s that I need 3 times daily, I simply can’t afford this much needed product. But thank you for recommending it. It did work.

  2. I just purchased the Algenist serum at Sephora, I just wanted to let fellow Dr Oz fans out there that you won’t find Algenist products in drugstores, it is only available at Sephora or QVC. Also, the link on this page takes you to a value kit that sells for $95 at Sephora but on Amazon it is listed for $225???

  3. I just started using both the Illumin8 eye shadow and the Algenist serum. I purchased both items from Sephora. Due to the fact I suffer from dry mouth I have also been trying to find the ProVantage at one of the local health food stores but have found none carry it. I also, like Suzanne discovered the link above for Algenist product takes you to Amazon where the price is way higher than the same product at Sephora. I am keeping my fingers crossed at least one of these products work as promised

  4. Allgenist Concentrated Reconstructing Serum is worth every penny! Finally I’ve found a product that does what it says it does & in a very short time . I will never stop using this product,
my skin as never looked so good. My friends & family thought I was doing cosmetic work or peels. I’m 35 and have always been pro active with my skin but over this past summer I noticed wrinkles & fine lines I had never had before, well my skin now looks like I’m in my early 20’s again!!!!!
