Dr Oz: Polycystic Ovarian Disease
Dr Oz’s show called “The Questions You Are Too Embarrassed To Ask” covered questions that many of us have but that we are too embarrassed to talk about, such as PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome. A lady asked Doctor Oz why she has hair on her breasts and how she can get rid of it. He asked her if her menstruation period was irregular and whether or not her body was shaped like a square or like a pear. Because all of these are a sign of PCOS, which is very common among women.
Dr Oz: Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome
Doctor Oz showed what ovaries usually look like when a woman reaches her reproductive years, and then he showed ovaries of a woman with PCOS. The PCOS ovaries had multiple cysts growing in them, because your ovaries stop being able to release eggs due to a hormonal problem. Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome is also a cause of infertility. In addition to having irregular periods, an early sign of PCOS is to have excessive hair growth on your body. Since the hair is caused by hormonal imbalances, you will often have male pattern hair growth such as hair on your face or your breasts.
