Vitamin K-Rich Foods

#1 Source of Vitamin K: Kale

Kale is a leafy green vegetable that has lots of Vitamin K in it.  In fact, Dr Oz said that you just need to eat one cup of kale each week to get the full amount of Vitamin K that you need, although he prefers if we get more than just one serving.

#2 Source of Vitamin K: Peaches

Peaches have Vitamin K and help to decrease your risk of getting fractured bones.  Dr Oz suggested eating a peach every day or adding the peach into some yogurt for a tasty treat.

#3 Source of Vitamin K: Pickles

Dr Oz said that pickles can help lower your risk of Diabetes by 20% because they help your body deal with Insulin.  Make sure to get low sodium pickles and eat 3 pickles daily.

#4 Source of Vitamin K: Abalone

Dr Oz said that Abalone is rich in Vitamin K, but you need to eat up to 3 daily.  Dr Oz’s guest said they were chewy.  I have never had abalone, have you?  Abalone are large edible sea snails that are considered a delicacy in many parts of the world.  Dr Oz gave his guest with the Abalone box a free trip to Monterey, California to go to Portola Hotel and Spa, where they have tons of Vitamin K rich foods like abalone!
