Dr Oz: What’s Your Chronotype? + Sleep Type & Better Habits

Dr Oz: Classify Your Sleep Habits

Dr Michael Breus, known as “America’s sleep doctor” by Dr Oz, joined the show to explain what a chronotype is and what it has to do with your sleep. A chronotype is a way for people to classify their sleep habits in a particular set of circumstances. If you’ve heard of “early bird” or “night owl” those are two popular chronotypes, but there are two more. Dr Breus actually used animals to classify different kinds of sleepers, lions who are early morning people, dolphins who aren’t great sleepers, bears who are somewhat in the middle, and then wolves who are night people.
