Dr Oz: Pencil Headache Remedy
Donna, an audience member, said she got headaches every single day. She usually goes for OTC treatments for relief. She told Dr Oz that her dentist told her she grinds her teeth, which may be the culprit.
To relieve tension headaches, try placing a pencil between your teeth to relax the jaw. Don’t bite down hard, just relax the jaw on it. This works when you get stressed out because when you’re stressed, you sometimes clench your jaw, which causes the temples to ache.
Dr Oz: Alka Seltzer Bug Bite Cure
Try dissolving 2 Alka-Seltzer tablets in 4 oz of water. Soak a cotton ball and apply to the bug bite for 5-minutes. Alka-Seltzer contains aspirin, which provides some pain relief as well. Because you’re not ingesting the aspirin and applying it directly to the bug bite, it works faster.
Dr Oz: Baking Soda UTI Remedy
For urinary tract infections, try mixing ¼ tsp baking of soda in 8 oz of water. Baking soda contains alkaline and is less acidic. Plus, the water you’re drinking allows you to flush out your system.
Dr Oz: Yogurt Bad Breath Remedy
Bet you didn’t know that bacteria in yogurt suppresses bad breath bacteria. Opt for plain or Greek yogurt and not the pre-sweetened yogurt. If you want more taste, add a bit of fruit or honey to the plain yogurt.
Dr Oz: Apple Cider Vinegar Dog Itch Remedy
If your dog is always biting or itching in one spot, try apple cider vinegar. Spray or sponge onto the hot spots 2 x per day. If it is an open wound, dilute with half water. Your dog will stop itching in no time.
Dr Oz: I4U Glasses Review
Doctor Oz found out about this on a recent vacation and now uses them daily. I4U lenses are portable contact reading glasses that virtually fit anyone. They’re small enough to carry anywhere and people can barely see them when you put them on.
