Kimberly Snyder's 5-Day Miracle Vitamin Plan

Dr Oz discusses the benefits of kimbu, kale, nutritional yeast, dole portobello mushrooms, sunflower seed, pumpkin facial masks, alpha lipoic acid and sage

Sunflower Seeds

Jumpstart your lungs with sunflower seeds, which contain a healthy dose of vitamin D. Eat ½ C of sunflower seeds and ¾ c dried apricots. Add in ½ c of hazel nuts and you have a delicious on the go snack that you can keep in your desk at work.

Dr Oz: Dole Portobello Mushrooms

For brain support, Kimberly says to look to vitamin D. Eat 1 C of Dole Portobello mushrooms. They’re grown in UV light and supply 100% of the FDA recommended daily allowance.

Dr Oz: Nutritional Yeast

To help with intestinal support, Kimberly says to look for those foods high in B-vitamins, like nutritional yeast. Eat 1 ½ C to get plenty of B-vitamins.

Kale

Doctor Oz is always talking about kale and now you know why. To help the liver do its job, look for foods rich in vitamin K. 1 C of kale supplies 700% (that’s not a typo) of the recommended daily allowance.

Dr Oz: Kimbu

This is more of a chemical element than a supplement. Iodine helps the thyroid function at its optimal level. Try sea veggies. 1 G of Kimbu has 3x the recommended intake. Dr Oz tried some and said “it’s not bad.”

These remedies will help you lose weight and feel more energetic and are all natural treatments to jumpstart your weight loss.

Dr Oz also included energy and wrinkle boosters, which included:

Dr Oz: Alpha Lipoic Acid

Alpha Lipoic Acid is an energy booster comes in leafy greens like spinach and greens. You can also take a 300 mg supplement per day.

Sage

Want to lose weight naturally? Try eating sage. Sage helps the body with digestion. Add 2 Tbsp of dried sage to 1 C of boiling water for a delicious tea. Weight loss-sage-helps body digestion.

Dr Oz: Pumpkin Facial Mask

To combat wrinkles, eat pumpkin cooked or fresh. Pumpkin rebuilds collagen. To make a pumpkin facial mask, mix 2 Tbsp of canned pumpkin to ½ tsp of honey and milk. Apply to face. Leave on for 10 minutes and then wash off.
