I am in my 60’s and have had acne all my life. Acne medications are so drying and usually don’t work for me. So I did some of my own research. I read that coconut oil and kokum butter are antibacterial and anti-fungal. They are medium chain fats, so they do not clog pores, yet they a bsorbs quickly, reduce wrinkles, & soften skin while fighting acne and promote healing. It also helps relieve the redness associated with acne. I melt it in a double boiler 2/3 coconut oil + 1/3 Kokum butter + barberry extract(berberine) Mix well, then put into jars. have been using it on my adult acne for the past 6 months. My acne is is virtually gone, but I continue to use it on my entire face & neck(sparingly) and my skin looks younger than ever. I hope this helps others who have adult acne.
