Kimberly McCullough, who plays Dr. Robin Scorpio Drake on ABC’s General Hospital, asked Dr. Oz why do breasts swell during their period and is there anything you can do to make your breasts swell when it isn’t your period? Wouldn’t that be nice!!! I was very excited to hear Dr. Oz’s answer to this question.
Dr. Oz’s Answer – Breasts swell during a woman’s menstrual cycle, particularly if the woman has fiber cystic breasts. And there is a good chance, if you are a woman, that you have fiber cystic breasts since 2/3 of women have them. During your period, this makes your breasts swollen, rubbery and tender. Eating a lot of saturated fat makes this worse. If you have painful, swollen, very sensitive breasts, try taking Vitamin E and Prim Rose Oil … that will help you out!
And as far as trying to make your breasts swollen during the rest of the month… Dr. Oz says this is not a healthy endeavor… but you can think about plastic surgery. I say embrace what you have!
