Doctor Oz was asked by a man if it is normal to get tingling or numbness in his fingers when he bangs his elbow or while on the cell phone.
Dr. Oz said it is not normal to get tingling in your fingers when you hit your elbow or use your phone… this is called cell phone syndrome and is caused by the compression of your nerve or blood supply. The cure for cell phone syndrome is either to switch arms, get a headset for your cell phone, or do physical therapy: hold both arms out straight with your palms facing up, then form fists, and flex your fists up (pivoting at your wrist joint).
