I hate when I sit for a long time and my leg or foot falls asleep (that is what I call the pins and needles or tingly feeling you get when you don’t move a body part for a while). Dr. Oz knew exactly what the pins and needles feeling was, what caused it and how to fix it.
There are two causes for a leg, foot or hand tingling:
1. Inadequate Blood Supply – if this is the cause, then it is your body warning you that your blood supply has been crimped off somewhere.
2. Nerve Issues – if nerves are the culprit, then it usually is because you have a nerve being pinched in your shoulders.
What is the cure for the tingly, pins and needles sensation? Roll your head around your neck and move your head all the way to your left shoulder and then move your head to the right. You can also try squeezing your hand (make a tight fist, release, repeat) or massaging your hands.
